Praying Through The Pain

One of my sweetest dearest friends and sisters in Christ is 28 weeks pregnant with her 3rd child, 2nd girl, Layne. She just recently found out from sonograms and an amnio test that Layne has a chromosome disorder called Trisomy 18. This is a life-threatening diagnosis for the baby. She will be seeing her doctor once a week at this point or more. She is totally leaning on the Lord even though I know it's extremely hard for her and her husband to deal with all the emotions that they are experiencing. There is always HOPE! Layne may be one of the babies that is born and gets to enjoy her parents' love along with big bother and big sister. I'm asking for everyone reading this to please stop and pray whenever you think of this family and sweet Layne. She is so loved already. I pray the Lord sustain Kris when she feels totally weak and helpless. She is such a strong woman and has the support of a great family and friends.

If found your blog through my daughter, Brooke (Blueprint Bliss).
I am acquainted with several mommies through the blogging world who have gone through what your friend is experiencing. They have formed a bond and friendship through their experiences and have a lot to share. If you will e-mail me, I would love to pass along their blogs and e-mails. They are amazing young women who, with God's help, have endured the pain of this journey. I will most certainly pray for your friend and her family. Susie
