Easter Pics

I went to Jacskon with Kristina to have the kids easter pics made at the last minute and the kids were so excited about real bunnies!

Well, N didn't know the animals were not toys. I about died when they handed him the duck! You will understand why below..........
The duck is OK!! I promise. Below is the pic in reation to me freaking out about it!
N just didn't understand why mommy was yelling "get the duck from him .. ohh noo" I'm laughing about it now because if it hadn't been for Kristina actually getting the duck, there is no telling what would have happened to that sweet thing.

Time To Play Catch Up!

So sorry you guys for not posting sooner! Let's catch up ... shall we?

Our first drama W dove into the corner of a door ( while I was out running errands)

T calls me and says "Don't freak out but he's okay....... Plus when I got home, chocolate made it alllllll better.

Easter weekend started off a bit bumpy. Thursday I was hit with a MASSIVE migraine and was down for 24 hours. KE had a fever virus and N was still croupy from the week before.

That knocked out egg hunts on Friday.

Saturday morning was a fresh start.. No headaches, no fever.. just runny noses. So we went to our annual hunt. The kids had a blast.

After every candy getting holiday I will keep the candy in the house for a week.. tops. Then buh bye! I know this may sound cruel to some of you but the kids want it ALL the time and then after it's gone , I have to explain them that dessert doesn't come after every single meal...

or does it?

Today T, KE and myself went for a visit to her future school for lunch. T nor I went there but we feel it will offer the best education and opportunity for our children. We were glad we went. I learned that students know how to read music before leaving elemenatry school, there is a resource room for those that need a little extra help and the headmaster has been there for 30+ years... by choice (just to name a few things) And just look! KE already has school spirit!

Honey-Do

T and I have been living in our house for almost 5 years ( I think ) and there is still things I want done. When we looked at the house, I loved it just as it was. Boy does that change! Can any of you relate?

We have done a few things, but here is a list of future projects:

*finish patio with brick pavers and seal

*install privacy fence ( I like the one shown)

*paint kitchen

*wallpaper ceiling in kitchen

*install quarter round in hallway and paint

Then there's wishes like granite counter tops and new undermount sink, lanscape the front yard, oh and our dream is to actually remodel the front of the house. So no, the pic at the top of the page isn't our house.... the remodel house. But flip it becasue our carport is on the left. ( you think T will be busy?) BUT in the grand scheme of things, I have learned that "stuff" really isn't important but NICE!

What is most important to us as a family is the death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Without the resurrection, our faith would be meaningless. This Easter week remember to thank God for sending his son to die for our sins so that we may live with Him in eternity!!!!! (can I get an amen?)

Advice for the Ladies

Okay girls, I did today what I have been saying what I was going to do for years......

I was fitted for a new bra.

I had always been "blessed" before I had KE. After her it was just time to shrink my girls. So I went under the knife and ever since I knew I needed help in the bra dept.

Get this though. Before ... I went to VS and they fitted me with a 36C. Today I went to Sal Liz and I was professionally fitted with a 34D...hello. After casually talking with people, I discovered that the VS size is the univeral bra size. Try it out! Maybe they will recommend a 36C for you too.

Needless to say I recommend pampering yourself and getting fitted for a bra. There is no reason to walk around with an ill fitting one. I can't tell you how much better I feel!

* disclaimer: this post should have been labeled TMI

Scripture Study

I have recently been introduced to a great and informative website that has been helping me in my own personal study of the Bible. It's http://www.biblegateway.com/ . I love it because you can look up a certain passage in up to 5 different translations at once. A great study tool for those of you who like to "compare notes"

I'm Back

Ok, I finally decided on a blog page that I like. There are still things I want to do to it, but that will have to come later

Anyway, today KE and myself went to Jackson to attend my neice's senior luncheon. Her May May hosted. It was very nice. There are alot of beautiful girls in Meridian. Seems like they all have blue eyes for some reason. I got to meet Lindsay's future Ole Miss roomie. She is a doll.

After lunch we went to visit Kris and I got to see her new place. It's beautiful! Just wait until you all see the kitchen when it's done! Oh and the backyard would sell it for me. They had a privacy fence put up and it is great. Makes me want ours up even faster.

KE needed a day away ( with me ) . We went to a few shops and then to her fav... Target. She loves checking out the latest toys.. Barbie to be exact. I could not believe all of the people!!! Then the dressing rooms! There were piles and piles of clothes that people decided not to buy that were sky high in buggies. I actually asked the ladies working if those clothes were all from today. Oh yes! We ate a Oby's and then headed back to the Delta.

It has been a great weekend so far. St Mary's is having thier yummy spaghetti lunch tomorrow so we plan to go to that after church. Sweet baby Luke is getting christened as well. I will take more pics soon!
