Drum Roll Please!

Remember these? It's sad to look at this picture.. I'm sentimental.. these were handed down to me after my grandmother ( nana) passed away. sigh

And here is the newly updated set of club chairs!! I love them but need major help on this room. ( the wall color is beautiful and looks pretty bright in this picture.)

Here are some pics from last weeks trip to the beach. We stayed at Phoenix West in Orange Beach and it was wonderful . New and CLEAN! Great pool area as well. Walt, Laura and Luke went with us and the Signa's happened to plan their trip the same time and on the same floor! We enjoyed Charles' yummy filet mignon. It was a great time.

this is our only group pic taken by KE... it cracks me up

This was this morning for the boys first days of school.

Nothing Spectacular

okay okay, so i just haven't had the time to prepare the blog post that i would like but I feel that I have neglected you for too long now...so .....

i finally got finished with BBTN shows and they were all a great success! I extend an extra special thanks to my sweet hostesses. I look forward to spring shows already! 2 days after I shipped the trunk back, we headed to the beach one more time for a few days. Unfortunately, I had a headache and spent my last beach day in the bed. Miserable. We WILL be planning next year's trip around my stinkin headaches.

KE is enjoying 2nd grade. She and W both started soccer this week and dance will fall in the schedule in 2 weeks. N starts the 2 year old preschool program tomorrow.

Hmmmmm, I believe that's it for now. I did get some really great advice I will share. When you are going through a trial, consult God on a daily basis... stay in the Word because the minute you try to handle it all on your own, you will blow it. I guess I really knew this, but it's so nice to have it said aloud. I hope you have someone in your life that will tell you these things. I don't know what I would do or where I may be without the precious people God has put in my life that I can "go to."

trunk'n along...

BETHANY DRESS IN SULLY FLOWER WITH DOT TRIM
ALSO AVAILABLE IN CHOC. CORD, HOT PINK CORD, LAVENDER CORD AND RACHEL FLORAL

Hi to my blogging family! Just wanted to check in to say hello... tomorrow is another busy day of showing off PRECIOUS children's clothing and driving Amelia bonkers. It's so much fun to hear the oohhs and ahhhs over the clothes.

I'm so excited... I finally joined the ranks of Blackberry owners and got the curve. I'm waiting on my 3 different covers to come in so I can decide on which one I like best. Every morning, BB plugged in my bathroom wall (this is where it charges overnight), coffee hot and waiting, I start up Pandora praise and worship and get ready for the day! Pandora is wonderful. I'm the queen of music so this is right up my alley. If I were still 16, I would create my own stations and make mixed tapes for all my friends.. (wait.. i don't even think we had Internet when I was 16.... did we?)

KE is loving her first week in 2nd grade so far. I knew she got a wonderful teacher the first day we were sent home a "get to know me" epistle ( as she calls it) that states what she expects and she would seek God's help with the kids. Then today when I picked her up and asked her about her day, she said that her teacher told them if they don't go to church, they needed to tell their parents to take them to one. She was excited to tell me that every morning they pray and hear a story from the Bible... HELLO?!!! Priceless... I'm so thankful for teachers who care not only about the child's education but their spiritual well being. Ironically, I received an email from a conservative news site about a principal and athletic director that are being prosecuted for praying in their school.. public of course. They could possibly serve jail time. Yes, put in jail for praying. This is what the world is coming to and while it's all scary, it's really ok. We all know that God conquers the world in the end and that is enough for me. I do worry what my children and grandchildren may have to endure. pray.pray.pray.

The boys start preschool in 2 weeks. i think I'm just ready to get into a routine. The boys don't nap well these last lazy days of summer. I will glad when they are worn out from school and rest well in the afternoons. Maybe I will get off this computer and be more productive around the house... . .... ... ....

Firsts

KE has her first (1/2) day of school today. She is in 2nd grade and got a wonderful teacher who loves children and is very creative and fun! I can't wait to see what the year holds for KE and how she grows.

Tonight me and a friend took our kids and their friend to see a local performance of High School Musical. N stayed behind with daddy, but W loved it so much that he got "Troy's" autograph. For real... he is 3. Cracks me up. This was W's first play. He was enthralled the entire time.... Sharpay's brother wore these kelly green pants in some parts of the play and I asked W if he liked the green pants. He looks at me as sweet as you can get and says "Mama, I like the pants but no thank you... I don't think I would wear them" He is SO growny!

BBTN is here!! I bet this is the first time you guys have seen this PRECIOUS set... there is a longall to match in the dot... sigh... so cute

just something i'm learning.. and more

to fully rely on God and what He wants me to do and be. Boy that is hard for someone who loves to be in control! This is my prayer for today and days to come.. Lord, turn my impatience into perseverance.

Tomorrow is the final day of kiddie cheer camp. I will be sure not to forget my camera so I can share pics. KE will be doing her routine to "Thriller" Funny thing is I'm very familiar with the moves not only from the video but my high school's dance squad did this dance years ago. I love the look on KE's face when I know something she thinks I have no clue about. Maybe that will give me credit in the future and she will take my word for what it's worth.....

Nah..probably not. I do look forward to the day that we can be friends. Until then, I will be the best parent I can be.

We are signing W up for soccer. He will be 4 in September! Crazy... According to him, he is ready to "KICK THAT BALL OVER THE GOAL!!!!!!!!"

I think N is ready for a big boy bed but I'm so not ready for the ups and downs for an hour until he finally falls asleep. Oh and the potty training is out the window and it's all my fault. I mean, how in the world do you potty train when you are in the road all the time? He will be 3 in December and my other two were 3 when they were trained so I'm not worried about it.

T is busy on the farm and I honestly do not see how he stands this heat. I remind him to drink plenty of water every hour. I bet he does it too..... He did get the chance to take KE and W fishing the other day. I wish he had taken the camera. It was W's first fishing trip and he came home SO excited. He said he caught 1 brim and 2 crappie!! When I asked him how big they were he held his little hands out at least 3 feet apart.... love it!!!

Ready to Rock!

We are ready for school to start!!!! I usually wait until this week to get everything but I did it in advance this year and it feels so much better! The summer has flown by.. I feel like we just gout out of school. The boys don't start day school until after labor day so that is nice. KE is currently taking piano and will soon be playing soccer and taking dance again... I will be in the road much more this year. Thursday we register for 2nd grade and find out who her teacher is!!! Then Friday will kick off the first day back to school.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week the girls have kiddie cheer camp. How cute are they in their shirts done by a friend of ours! And SS came here for the week from moving to St Louis at the beginning of the summer. KE went home with her to her grandmother's house and they had a picnic, played "wilderness girl" and went swimming. KE is SO glad to be able to spend time with her again.

I just went around snapping pics today and I officially can't stand this camera and I hope that I will be able to get a good one sooner than later. Anyway, I love this pic.. I can't imagine what they are talking about.
