A Record

wow guys... i think this is a record.... i haven't posted in a WHILE.

I can't begin to tell you everything that has gone on but I will try..

Nathan was hospitalized with what we think was walking pneumonia a few weeks ago. That was NOT fun. They found a tiny spot on one of his lungs and we will be going to see a Dr at Lebohnner in Memphis come January. Our doctor does not think it's anything serious but just want to cover all our bases.
After a full recovery, Nathan turned 3!!!!! We had a choo choo birthday party and it was a hit.

This past weekend we traveled to South Carolina to see the Thaxton crew. The kids love it there as do I. My youngest cousin just got engaged so we will be back in May for the wedding. She is such a sweet girl and Nathan loved her.
This week has been jam packed with school Christmas parties and Wade's program. Tonight is our church program. KE and Wade will be in it. Tomorrow night is KE's very first piano recital. Then Friday is the last school party and we will be done for the holidays!! THANK GOODNESS! Some days I wish we could just simplify life and not have all this stuff to do. Just family, friends and fellowship. Looks like my life will not be slowing down anytime soon, but for that, I'm grateful anyway.
Here are a few pics of the last several weeks.....very random order
Brantley.. the soon to be new addition to our family.

I apologize for the lack of description on this post. I'm going and going these days! I'm hoping the pictures are self-explanatory.

A look on the Bright Side

Today has not been productive for me. I woke up with a headache which is pretty much gone now. I took a shower with intentions of going to church but just couldn't get it together. So T took Wade while KE and Nathan stayed home with me. The only thing I have done today is wash 2 of 6 loads of clothes. The greatest thing about today is the sun has shown all day!! I hope this week is bright and sunny. We are one week away from our pictures with Mauri. And 2 weeks away from Halloween. I still have not bought the kids' costumes. We may just take a family trip over to Walmart and let them pick them out. I usually go all out online and try to get costumes you can't get in stores... but really.. who cares? They sure don't! I hope to squeeze in a trip to the pumpkin patch as well.

Yesterday we all went to Oxford for Ole Miss' homecoming. Since we had the kids, we just tailgated and then came on home when the game started. Both of my nieces are KDs and they are loving it. KE has decided she wants to go to Ole Miss and we encourage it! Then she asks if she can go to Alabama and of course we tell her she can. I will be happy if she goes and sticks to it..unlike myself.

It's time again for me to get started on my Christmas wreaths. I can't wait to go to Paul Michael and get some goodies ! My wreaths will be featured at The Crown in November! I can't wait!

oh oh oh it's magic!

I had to share this... he is always asking me to pull the video up on YouTube...

Hello all

Wow, I'm officially a blog slacker. Life has definitely been busy. KE is in soccer, dance, voice and piano. W is in soccer and N is just hanging out at school 2 days a week in which I get nothing done still! I need an entire day to clean or at least get caught up.

This past weekend I took KE on a surprise road trip to St Louis to see her BFF. They were both surprised and had a ball. Another treat was supposed to be a Hannah Montana concert but she cancelled due to strep! I was so glad I never told KE!!! This was an early birthday gift to her. As things would have it, Miley rescheduled for KE's actual birth date... and yes we will make the trip again for it in a few weeks. She is going to be so excited.

We have been though the swine flu and I'm just hoping we don't deal with sickness all winter long. The boys are doing well and are definitely a hand full these days. They have been a bit stir crazy with being cooped up in the house due to rain rain and more rain. It's depressing! Something I am looking forward to this weekend is the Beth Moore conference and Ole Miss/Bama game. I can't wait to cheer on our Lord and Savior as well as the family's favorite SEC team.

Hi there!

Still busy with kids' activities but I wanted to take a moment to share a picture of W getting ready to go to school for picture day and the last day as a 3 year old!!! :(

We are having his party tomorrow at his school. Easy does it! He is so excited. He asked me to make a cake with his picture on it like a rock star. I made these instead. I know he will love it! I still can't believe he is about to be 4!!
